A family run business about chianti classico.

Their story begins in 1992, when Giovanni d'Orsi, a first-generation winemaker, moved from Naples to Panzano with a clear vision of the wines he wanted to create.
Giovanni and his wife Emilia, together with their daughter Maria Giovanna, worked to build a strong brand and range of artisanal organic wines with a unique personality and history.
"We enjoy being able to share our story and our passion with a good glass of wine. Reason why is that we organise daily tours and tasting at the winery through 3 different formulas. For the two tours we require a booking as those are private. For the tasting instead we suggest booking in advance but we welcome walks-in as well, depending on the availability."

With him you can book a wine tasting tour anywhere in Tuscany, or a truffle hunting tour, an experience you won't find anywhere else, in fact you will experience a morning searching for truffles with a trained dog and then with the precious prize your final lunch will be prepared. The truffle hunter will show you how to find truffles by walking through the woods, how to make the best use of them, revealing all the secrets, and how to cook and enjoy them.

Filippo is a sommelier and here at Secret Garden we have a wine cellar where we save excellent labels personally selected by him. If you would like to enjoy a good bottle of wine in the garden, in your room or, in the case of the vine leaf room, on the terrace, he will be there to help you according to your tastes and needs, upon advance request you can combine a cheese board or homemade focaccia.
